Three women and a child were burnt beyond recognition when fire razed down their house on Thursday morning. The event took place in Kibera, Langata constituency.
The four were burnt as they slept in their house in Gatwikira in Kibera when fire broke down at around 1:20 a.m. It is reported that the door to the house was locked from the outside.
Kilimani OCPD Peter Katam said six other people who were burnt during the incident have been admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
The child, eight year old Elvis Ocholi, was the son of Margaret Nyakowa who also died in the inferno. The other two havebeen identified as Belinda Awuor and Linet.
